I’m here to help you find the information you need, to physically support you however I can, and to hold space for you and your emotions. My goal is to help you feel empowered, informed, and supported.

I moved to this beautiful town in April 2013 from another equally charming place called Waterford City in Ireland, with my husband and our three young children. Since then we have welcomed two more little ones to our family. It’s safe to say I’ve always had a deep love for babies and the beautiful, transformative journey of parenthood.

Karen is a mother, Postpartum Doula , social worker, and mental health counsellor offering services that prepare and support new parents. She provides prenatal and postpartum doula and counselling services that lower the risk of postpartum mental health issues and increase overall family wellbeing. Service costs may be partially covered by insurance.

Tara Cornick (she/her)

Tara is a certified birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, yoga teacher, and labour Reiki practitioner who has been supporting women and couples in St. John’s, NL and beyond, both in person and virtually, since 2021.

Jordanna Comeau (she/her)

Jordanna (she/her) is a certifying birth and postpartum doula, a mother of two, and a registered social worker who provides perinatal mental health counselling in private practice. Jordanna is passionate about helping birthing people feel supported, empowered, and resilient as they navigate their perinatal journey.

Michelle is a mother, professional chef, and certifying doula who brings together her expertise in food and her commitment to birthwork to support families from preconception through postpartum. Her work is rooted in practical care, informed preparation, and steady, hands-on support through every stage of the birth journey.

Samantha Freake
Certifying Birth Doula, Certifying Postpartum Doula
Samantha is a mom of two beautiful children, a clinical social worker with both Bachelor and Master degrees in social work, and a certifying birth and postpartum doula. Perinatal mental health and wellbeing is a topic close to Samantha’s heart.
