Tara is a certified birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, yoga teacher, and labour Reiki practitioner who has been supporting women and couples in St. John’s, NL and beyond, both in person and virtually, since 2021.
If you’re feeling anxious about labour, if your mind spirals when you think about the unknown, if a past birth left you shaken, or you’re quietly wondering if a VBAC could be possible for you, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to navigate this on your own.
Tara specializes in guiding women who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or unsure about birth into a place of calm and confidence. She also deeply supports women who are navigating the weight of a previous traumatic birth, or who feel called toward a VBAC and want to approach it feeling informed, grounded, and supported.
Her approach blends yoga, breathwork, birth education, and Reiki to support both your body and your nervous system, while also creating space for your unique story, your preferences, and your pace.
Tara is the creator of The Confident Birth Method, a holistic birth preparation program that weaves together education, mindset, and body-based practices to help you release fear, build trust in yourself, and prepare for a calm, supported, and personalized birth experience. The Confident Birth Method has been helping couples in Canada and the US labour and birth with confidence since 2023!
